Afro Eats and Beats

Celebrate Africa Day at Paddy's! On the back of the success of our Afro Eats and Beats in the past two years, we're bringing back this vibrant festival alongside our Paddy’s Flemington's Sunday markets on Sunday 25th May 2025, from 9am to 4.30pm.

From fufu to Caribbean beats, vitenje to ginger tonics, immerse yourself in the sights, sounds and flavours of the Mother Continent. Experience Nigeria, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Barbados, and the Ivory Coast all in one location!

There will be a live band, a DJ, African music and dance performanes, fashion retail market stands, hair braiding, African cuisine cooking demonstrations, and 15 dedicated African food stalls. For the kids, there'll be a FREE soft play and jumping castle zone too.

This is an all-weather, undercover venue. Entry is free, $2 parking per vehicle.
