Paddy's Pasifika Festival

Mark your calendars and gather the aiga — Paddy's Pasifika Festival is bringing island vibes to Paddy’s Flemington on Sunday 24th August 2025, from 9am to 4.30pm, for a vibrant celebration of Pacific Islander culture, food, and community!

This special event, in partnership with local Pasifika cultural groups, will transform Paddy’s Sunday markets into a lively celebration of Polynesian, Micronesian, and Melanesian heritage — complete with the irresistible sounds of drums, traditional dance, and bold, rich flavours from across the Pacific.

Get ready for powerful Pacific islander cultural performances and energetic live music that celebrate the spirit of the islands. Taste your way through stalls offering everything from Tongan dishes like Lu Sipi, Lu Pulu and Ota Ika, umu-style cooked food and tropical desserts like panikeke and cassava cake. You’ll also find Pasifika craft and weaving demos, storytelling, and so much more.

For families, there’ll be plenty of activities to enjoy including a FREE kids’ jumping castle zone, island craft workshops, and loads of giveaways!
